Topic
Life cycle of living things.

Life cycle is referred to the series of stages through which all living things go through during their life time.
eg maize,frog and mosquito.

Life cycle of maize.
NB. Maize takes two and half to three months to mature.
During the growth period it starts from the seed to seeding then mature plant then fruits and seeds again.

That is the seed germinates into seeding.
The seeding grows into mature plant which develops flower to form fruits and seeds after fertilization.

Note 2⃣

Cloud
Cloud is a mass of water droplets I the sky. It is ash or grey in colour. When the clouds get heavy it falls down as rain.

Objects seen in the sky during the night

Moon
Moon is the objects in the sky that absorbs and reflects the sun ray to the earth at night. The moon dies not produce its own light.

Stars
The star is a burning gas that produces its own light at night. Some are big and others are small. The stars are far away from the earth than the Sun that explains why they are seen smaller in size.

Importance of Objects In The Sky
1. The Sun warms the earth' s surface.
2. The Sun produces light to help us see.
3. Plants use sunlight to prepare their own food.
4. It provides heat energy to dry up wet clothes and some agricultural products. Eg. Beans, cereals and cocoa beans.

The moon provides light during the day
The stars produce light during the night
The clouds help in the formation of rainfall.

TOPIC: Hydrological (water cycle)

Water Cycle is the changing of water from one state of matter to another form and back to its liquid state. Associated terms in water cycle includes
A. Condensation
B. Evaporation
C. Transpiration
D. Precipitation

Condensation is the process by which water vapour or steam changes into water after cooling

Evaporation is the process whereby water changes into water vapour (steam) as a results of heat application.

Factors that influence evaporation include
1. Temperature
2.  Wind

Transpiration is the process whereby plants release excess water into the atmosphere as vapour through the leaves.

Evapotranspiration refers to the sum of evaporation and transpiration processes

Precipitation is the final stage in the water cycle whereby the vapour is condensed to fall back into the earth in the form of rain, ice and glacier.
