FUTURE TENSE (1)
LEARNING OBJECTIVE

By the end of this lesson pupils will learn

a.. to express the future using 'will' and 'shall'

b. to use 'will' and 'shall' to construct sentences orally

1. The future tense is used to express the future.

2. It is used to tell the time that has not yet come.(tomorrow, weeks, months and years)

3. ( will and shall) are helping verbs  for expressing the future.

(auxiliary verb or helping verb + main verb = Future tense)
             will        +      go      =    will go
             shall     +       visit      =   shall visit

She will go home on Friday.

We shall visit our uncle tomorrow.

PLURAL NOUNS, IRREGULAR FORM
Learning Objective
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to use words appropriately in oral and written language.
Many borrowed or foreign words(nouns) have not changed their foreign plurals. They do not end their plural with s,es,ies or ves. Borrowed words with a, ar, um, on and us endings form their plural by adding ae, a or i.

WORDS WITH (A) OR (AR) ENDINGS
Some borrowed words with (a) or (ar) endings form their plural by changing (a) or (ar) to (ae)

SINGULAR                 PLURAL

WORDS WITH (UM) OR (ON) ENDINGS
Some borrowed words with (um) or (on) endings form their plural by changing (um) or (on) to (a)

Some borrowed words with (us) endings form their plural by changing (us) to (i)
