It is the use of tools or devices to save data.

TOOLS/DEVICES FOR STORING DATA.
   1. Pen drive
2. Memory card 3. CD/DVD
4. Digital Camera
5. Books
6. Tape recorder
7. Hard drive
8. Cloud storage

IMPORTANCE OF DATA STORAGE TOOLS OR DEVICES.
They are used to keep information or records for future use.

TECHNOLOGY
Technology is the name given to a tool that makes work easier and faster to do.

There are technology tools in our homes, schools, workplaces etc.
Some technology tools are used for sending information and others are used for receiving information.

Some examples of technology tools are;
1. Telephone
2. Radio
3. Computer
4. Mobile phone 5. Camera
6. Television
7. Thermometer

USES OF SOME TECHNOLOGY.
Telephone: it is used for conversation.
Mobile phone: it is used for conversation and for sending or receiving messages.
Thermometer: it is used to measure temperature.
Radio: it is used for listening to the news.

They came to spread the Christian faith. The Portuguese were the first European nation to come to Gold Coast in the year 1471. The Portuguese named the place Gold Coast because of the Gold deposits found on the land. After the European missionaries had contacts with the coastal people, they decide to enter the interior parts of Ghana.
